The recent survey results also bring us nicely to the other key part of this project – funding.

One of the cornerstones of our funding strategy has always been to involve the community (that’s you!), and we’ll soon be ready to talk to you about an exciting Community Share Offer that we’ve been developing, which will bring you even closer to the project.

This fits well with the latest drawings and visuals we’re preparing in light of the condition survey findings, and as part of the planning application we’re about to submit to North Tyneside Council. It also means that this will be the furthest that any attempt to redevelop the site has gone since the pool was closed in the 90’s.

We’re sure you’ll agree that it’s all getting very, very exciting.
