A massive, olympic-pool sized ‘thank you’!

In June, we received an email from Alan Steele, one of our supporters, who told us he was about to hold his birthday party at Tynemouth Golf Club.

Nothing unusual about that, you might think, until he mentioned that he’d also asked his friends and family to donate to our charity instead of buying him gifts.

Well, we’re not one to turn down an offer like that, and Alan raised a brilliant £190.72 on the night. So, on behalf of the charity and the whole community behind the project, we’d just like say a massive, olympic-pool-sized THANKYOU to Alan for his generosity.

And hopefully he’ll have had a drink (or two) for us on the night!
